Elsewhere was a kind of thrift store that sold old toys, clothing and nicknacks between the 40's and 90's. (George, correct me on the details if I'm off). It was boarded up for a while after the owner passed away, but then the Grandson reopened the doors as an arts space that operates around the theme of the crazy collection found within.

They invite artists from all over to come down for a few weeks to create projects with the items found in the store. It seemed up my ally. I've always had a thing for thrift, and some of the objects I make are basically big toys, so it's a good match.

I'm very slowly getting my feet wet. I've had a bunch of ideas so far, but need to follow through on one. Thinking about making a monster/golum for one of the upstairs chambers.
